Good News People

It was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord; and when they lifted up their voices with the trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the LORD, they sang, “For He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever!” Then the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God. –2 Chronicles 5:13-14

 

ABOUT US:

The Music Ministry of Covenant Life is one of our great evangelism tools—as it engages members and guests to come together in worship of Jesus. The Good News People encourage believers in their walk with Christ through music, and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gifts, worship in spirit and in truth, and be an integral part of our services.

 

OUR MISSION:

The Purpose of the Good News People is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through music. Our aim is to worship God as He reveals Himself to us in scripture. (Colossians 3:16)

Our team of: musicians, singers, and sound specialists work together to lead our church community in praise and adoration to the God of all creation. Our music offerings reach out to all ages, and embrace a diversity of musical sounds and rhythms. The Good News People produce fresh-new God-inspired music, while honouring traditional Gospel music heritage.

 

Worship is a delight to God (Psalms 149:3-4). It is the very purpose for which man was created (Revelation 4:11). So whether vocalist or musician, music is a Biblical means of worship towards God.
